Kung Fu Introduction |
Our focus is Foshan and Guangdong
But it is difficult to find full-time schools in Foshan. Below are listed for you to chaeck out. |
Kung
Fu |
For
those looking for genuine Kung Fu instruction
in China, China Expats are pleased to direct
students to:
This new Kung Fu Academy based in the
heart of Foshan City, offers instruction in
many forms of Chinese martial arts, including:
Wushu, Shaolin, and Wing Chun.
Courses run from one week, to several
years, and unlike everywhere else in Foshan
City, these are full time, nominally five or
six days per week. Airport transfers are included,
and China Expats are pleased to work along side
their aims, and assist with providing suitable,
local accommodation. However, the cost of full
training (six hours per day), including use
of gym facilities outside hours, is very reasonable.
For more information, please see their
website: Foshan

We are a free information provider, we do not
run courses, we are not an agency. We do not
actively promote any of companies, or get any
reward for featuring them.
This is information ONLY! What you
do with it is up to you...
Other Foshan Kung Fu schools, of which
we have personally visited three. All offer
traditional Wing Chun instruction, but are limited
by being local clubs offering a few hours evening
training, a couple of times per week. None offer
fully inclusive packages.
Foshan also offers Hun Gar training at
Xi Qiao mountain, this is direct lineage to
Wong Fei Hung.
Foshan Kung Fu details page click
here.
For those seeking full time training and
an all inclusive package we recommend either
Yangshuo near picturesque Guilin, in nearby
Guanxi Province, or Kunyu Mountain Shaolin Temple
featured below.
Please note:
China Expats are not agents for any of the schools
mentioned, we simply provide an information
service, and our information is limited to what
we discovered when we discovered it, and things
may have changed since - especially prices or
class schedules. |

Yangshuo Kung Fu:
There are numerous Kung Fu schools in Yangshuo,
Guilin, that offer many disciplines of martial
arts. Some are dedicated solely to Qi Gong or
its modern offshoot Tai Chi. Others offer full
instruction in many other forms, most notably
Wing Chun, Shaolin, and Hun Gar.
Yangshuo is a lively town in peaceful and picturesque
setting, with training schools scattered nearby
between the two major rivers. For partners not
into the rigours of Kung Fu there is a lot to
do thereabouts, and numerous excursions from
a few hours to several days.
We plan to offer a full page dedicated
to Yangshuo Kung Fu and alternatives, but to
be honest - no school has yet bothered to answer
our email enquiries, so far. Not Good. If you
want to learn more immediately, simply type
"yangshuo kung fu" into your search
engine (Without the speech marks), and you will
find dozens of places offering a wide variety
of *all-inclusive* tuition packages, most at
extortionate prices (Even for China). Whether
they bother to reply is a different matter =
'Here is China', except most of these institutions
are run, or ultimately funded, by foreigners.
To start you off we know of:
• The
Wandering Dao - Qi Gong school of meditation
and self-healing.
• Yangshuo
Shaolin - Offer several Kung Fu disciplines
and fully inclusive packages.
• Yangshuo
Tai Chi & Kung Fu School - "We

to advanced practitioners. It doesn't matter

tailor our training to suit your needs".
• Yangshuo

Huang; an enthusiastic and well qualified teacher
of Tai Chi. |
