Human displacement seems to stem from an indeterminate region in Siberia - just North of the Northern tip of Mongolia, somewhere?

I am currently working with around 4K (4, 000 years) of human history; and accept that there are two ways Countries become Empires:

1. The Roman Example - where known peoples become powerful and decide to 'Rule the World'. The Egyptians and Greeks tried it before, and many others afterwards. OK, I understand this; and it is usually relatively 'local' in terms of world domination
2. Europe is always invaded by people from 'The East', and this goes on for millennia! Xiongnu, Huns, Mongols, etc
3. By writing a history of China, I have come to realise this pressure for movement of peoples comes from the North, or Northeast = Siberia

Then I consider that Red Indians (Native American's) are probably of some form of 'Chinese extraction (As witnessed by physical, cultural, and language similarities - as with certain ethic minority Chinese of today)...

...and I wonder?

...And the more I wonder what is going on in an area with receding ice - that forces tribes, cultures, and Kingdoms to move 'South'?

Come back to me sometime
